Alyssa Sauter
Miss Rodeo New Mexico 2025
Alyssa Sauter resides in the rural eastern community of Moriarty, New Mexico. Her favorite time
of the year is late spring when the early mornings come fast. When she was young she would
rise to the sound of the neighboring farmers and ranchers planting, herding and completing the
Lord’s work all before the break of day. Every chance she got, she would tune in to their words
of wisdom and stories of a lifetime. Listening in with a heart full of desire, that fueled her passion
to cultivate and solidify the western lifestyle.
With a dream of giving back to the community, she started her very own business at the age of 25. As the independent owner of a feed store she sources supplies and locally grown hay and
grain for the local farmers and ranchers. This convenient and affordable access in a centralized
location facilitates the ease of acquiring the necessities to sustain this vitally important way of
life. A life we share in rodeo, from the food we eat, to the animals we ride.
When Alyssa isn’t in the saddle or out loading hay, you can find her hosting local events to bring
awareness and revenue into the rodeo community. Alyssa also sponsors local Cowgirls and
Cowboys to aid in their future journeys. She rescues as many animals as possible because she
knows each critter has their purpose on this land.
As Miss Rodeo New Mexico, Alyssa will embody the principles of determination, grit and
character that was instilled in her as a girl and are currently present and strengthened in the
woman she has become.
